Ikigai Self-Discovery Cards
35 Mindfulness Cards for Personal Growth and Reflection — inspired by Japanese Ikigai philosophy
From Idea to Result
How the Idea was Born
After a successful start with the Kintsugi Kit, I looked for the next product in the Japanese philosophy niche. While doing keyword research, I discovered high demand for 'ikigai' — the Japanese concept of finding life's purpose. The idea was to turn this philosophy from a book format into an interactive card deck that helps people discover their goals through structured questions and exercises.
Product Development
Each card had to be both visually appealing and meaningful. The design was created with a minimalist aesthetic that matches the spirit of Japanese philosophy.
Launch and Results
The product reached a stable sales level thanks to a well-optimized listing and a targeted PPC campaign.

The Japanese concept of 'ikigai' combines 4 dimensions of life: what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs and what you can be paid for. Research in Okinawa showed that people with a clear ikigai live 7 years longer on average.
